Things are not going well for Film-makers Jim and Paul, and their attempts to make their first Zombie Alien Sci-Fi epic 'Green Invasion'. Jim is middle aged, completely drunk and unable to cope with life. Paul is young, angry and so eager to get his first film finished, that quality and judgement have gone straight out of the window. Add to this a three way love triangle with the beautifully self destructive Liz, and Paul's inability to tell the difference between fiction and reality, and the whole thing makes for a big film makers disaster. From the fertile imagination of writer Joe Ogden, Setting Sail in a Bathtub is both a funny and moving tale of struggling Artists and their failure to overcome their own personal issues, told in a style that leaves you unsure of where the fiction ends, and the reality starts.
